Houston, Zydeco Meltdown is BACK!

Join us Saturday, September 12 for a three-hour Zydeco dance experience designed for beginners AND dancers who are ready to improve their turns, transitions and overall flow.

You do not need a partner or previous Zydeco experience. We start with the foundation, break everything down step-by-step and build from there.

ZYDECO 101 — FOUNDATION BASICS

Learn the foundation of Zydeco dancing, including the basic step, rhythm, timing and staying on beat. This portion is perfect for first-time dancers or anyone who wants to strengthen their foundation and become more confident on the dance floor.

ZYDECO 102 — TURNS & TRANSITIONS

Once the foundation is solid, it’s time to level up! We’ll work on turns, transitions, smoother partner movement, style and flow so you can start putting everything together and GROOVING.
